Last pastel paintings for the year!

My art group has finished for the year and Christmas events and gardening now summer is here are overtaking my painting.  These are the last two I have done - very different in style.  The Ethiopian scene was inspired by a photograph of mine from my trip there last year.  The other was an attempt to use bright colours which I love.... but the subject is too cliched.   I will need more practice and different subjects to work on.
